Miguel Cullen is a poet and NCTJ-trained freelance journalist who writes about culture and news.

He currently blogs for The Independent on music and is Arts Editor for The Catholic Herald, and has contributed  to The Independent, The Daily Telegraph, Vice, The Times, Clash magazine [where he worked as editorial assistant in 2010], Knowledge magazine, Notes from the Underground magazine, I Like Music, Don’t Panic, Spoonfed, The Catholic Herald and The Ham & High.

He has travelled to Iceland, France and Croatia to cover music festivals and was recently interviewed as part of a Rai Tre television programme on the London music scene.
